A couple years ago, Ivette Ivens posted a self-portrait of her breastfeeding her sons, one of them a toddler. When this sparked a bit of negative feedback online, she reacted in a constructive way. Encouraged by the concept, "the more you see it, the more normal it is," she began taking more and more breastfeeding portraits of women and has compiled them into a gorgeous book called “Breastfeeding Goddesses.” This conversation is about creativity, getting ideas, public breastfeeding, confidence in shaping your own path, and how one young woman is making a difference for nursing mothers.
